Lesson materials and software

The lesson pages used in class and Brink, the whiteboard and the AI built into it, belong to Brink Learning. Your child can use them in their classes. Please don't copy, share or sell them, or make your own versions of them.

Terms of use

By using this site you agree to the terms on this page. Use it to find out about classes and to get in touch. Please don't try to break it, get around how it works, or use it for anything unlawful. I may update this page from time to time; the date at the top shows when it last changed.

Privacy

Your child's information is stored in Australia and used only to run lessons and reports. The AI services that read the boards are set to keep nothing and never train on it. I use your details to reply to you and to take payment. Ask any time and I'll delete them.

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies. It counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies and doesn't keep anything that identifies you.

External links

Some links take you to sites I don't run, such as the Google Form for finding a class, and classes run on Google Meet. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and I'm not responsible for what's on them.

Disclaimer

I try to keep this site accurate and up to date, but what's here is general information, not advice for your child in particular. The examples on the site come from test lessons, not real students' work.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Brink Learning isn't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site or relying on what it says. Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute about them goes to the courts of New South Wales.

Class terms

Two free weeks. Your child's first two weeks are free, and you don't need a card to start. If it's not right, tell me and you won't be charged.

Billing. After the free weeks, I send one invoice per term for the weeks left in it: A$34 a week for one class a week, or A$49 a week for unlimited classes, per child. For example, a family joining in week 5 has weeks 5 and 6 free, then pays from week 7 to the end of term. Founding families keep their rate. Ask me about sibling pricing.

Cancelling. You can cancel any time by emailing matt@brinklearning.com.au. No notice is needed.

Refunds. I refund any paid week that hasn't started yet, and any class I cancel and don't make up.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
